Purpose of creation: taking science as the starting point and philosophy as the perspective, using the principle of maintaining energy balance, from the universe, Earth, life, human evolution and historical processes, to demonstrate this principle and derive philosophical thoughts such as cherishing the present and preventing nuclear war. Through passages on human existence, desire, mission, and the meaning of life, as well as the article "The Gift of Life," it explains the meaning and mission of life. Maintaining energy balance is a new principle (note: this is not the law of energy conservation); currently neither science nor philosophy has this theory, yet it exists and acts upon our world, whether the universe, life, or humanity itself. This book demonstrates and derives corresponding philosophical views through each stage of the universe, Earth, life evolution, and human history. Combining science and philosophy, both scientists and ordinary people can understand and comprehend our world.
The whole book takes "maintaining energy balance" as the core thread, linking grand subjects such as cosmic evolution, the birth and development of life on Earth, and the progress of human civilization into a logically unified whole. From the transformation balance of energy and matter in the Big Bang, to the balance between electromagnetic forces and quantum effects inside atoms, to the balance of energy distribution and civilization continuity in human society, this theme runs throughout, providing a unique perspective for interpreting nature and human society, allowing readers to fundamentally understand the common laws behind various phenomena.
The work integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines such as physics, biology, history, philosophy, and religion. At the scientific level, it covers professional content including Big Bang theory, quantum field theory, nuclear fusion, cell biology, etc., such as explanations of the energy balance mechanism of quark-gluon plasma, and the balance between nuclear fusion and gravity in stellar evolution.
